The NSW Health Good for Kids, Good for Life Water Campaign

The NSW Health Good for Kids, Good for Life Water Campaign began on 13 July 2008. It forms part of the broader NSW Health strategy to reduce overweight and obesity amongst NSW children.

The campaign promotes the importance of water consumption for children as a healthy alternative to cordial, fruit juices, flavoured mineral waters, sports drinks and soft drinks.

The key message which targets parents and carers of children aged 15 and under is:

When it comes to thirst, drink water first.

The campaign is being implemented during July to September 2008 via television, radio and press. See the links below to watch, or listen to the advertisements. For further information, see the downloadable files.
