The Deliciously Healthy Cookbook promotes the enjoyment of healthy eating for a healthy heart with 100 recipes that are nutritious, tasty and quick and easy to prepare.

Each recipe is accompanied by a beautiful photograph that will not only guide you on the end result but may also make it difficult for you to choose which recipe to try first. Tips and star ingredient descriptions are also littered throughout the book.

The introduction begins with useful information about how to eat healthily to help your heart, based on four key principles in heart disease prevention. It also describes the difference between the types of fats, the twelve steps to achieving a healthy fat balance, how to reduce sodium in your diet and how to get the balance right from the different food groups, amongst other advice.

The back of the book also contains a glossary; an imperial/metric conversion chart for liquids, weight and oven temperatures; egg sizes to use; a guide to Australian cup and spoon measurements; and an index, all of which are useful references.
