Play with Purpose

Play with Purpose supports teachers to develop a game-centred approach to teaching physical education in the primary and middle years of schooling. The game-centred approach is about providing students with an understanding of a game and helping them gain the confidence to transfer skills across game types. It helps build enhanced self-concepts and greater levels of sustained involvement in physical activity compared to traditional ‘skill and drill’ approaches.

Daily Does It

Daily Does It has over 40 active games with an emphasis on moderate-to-vigorous physical activity for the primary and middle years of schooling. Each activity is easy to organise, as the equipment is minimal and the instructions are clearly explained.. The book is a must for busy teachers and reaffirms the importance of daily physical activity.
